Website advice from scheduling professionals requested
I am in the process of re-vamping my website, and would like some professional opinions on what you look for in website information. What would absolutely turn you off to calling an NSA, and what would turn you on to calling a NSA, by the website. What type of info is helpful in assisting you to choose a NSA, and what is not? I appreciate and invite your opinions. TIA

I think that it is extremely beneficial to put a picture of yourself on yuor website. I know a lot of people are going to slam me for saying this but I really think it helps to have a face to place with a name and it also makes it more personal.
It is really helpful to see what areas the agent covers, hours of availability and how long they have been performing signings.
As far as turn offs....I am not sure that I have anything to add here...Cant think of one off the top of my head.

I don't know if I'm a scheduling professionals, but...
If I'm looking on Not Rot, I look for several things: proximity to the signing I need to assign, years of experience, spelling and grammar errors and equipment/availability. I admit that I usually give preference to Premier Members because I feel that they are more serious about their business.
I'm not knocking anyone; I only recently became a Premier Member myself. I feel that a professional NSA is going to have a neat, clean link with no grammatical or spelling errors and will list such things as amount of experience, whether they are in partnership with someone else, relevant education and whether the NSA has the equipment to do the job.
Several of my title companies have recently begun asking me to find them professional NSAs in certain parts of the state, which I do, so I probably don't qualify as a pro at scheduling. I just thought I'd throw in my two cents.

Research "search engine optimization" and utilize the techniques. Do not skip - this is essential.
List the towns and zip codes you serve. This will help you appear on a search engine.
Offer lots of text helpful to your local users.
My website gets me tons of work. Take a look at www.ProfessionalNotary.com
Few websites nationwide can beat mine for relevant content information provided.
Last week, a customer traveled 700 miles to work with me because he thought I was the only notary in his state who could handle his documents. He was right.

Thanks Laura, I placed the book in the mail this afternoon, you should get it tomorrow or the next day. Enjoy I had to go down the hill today, passed by your Arrowhead Hot Springs, thought of you and your sis.....One doesn't pay enough attention to what surrounds us, you are right, it is lovely.
