Why is it?

When I have only one appt. scheduled for the day, all the calls I get for the rest of the day, is for that same time? I have a wedding tonight at 7 PM and have had to turn down 5 (that's right, FIVE) other calls for refi's for that same time? Of course, they cannot be seen at 5 or 8, LOL.
BTW, one of those calls was from Above and Beyond All SS, formerly Signing Star. I read through some posts written last year, curious as to what the board members experiences have been with them since then.

Did a RESPA for them last year. Stupid me agreed on a $75 including postage (yes...express mail). Only 2 signatures...yeah I thought.... Realize quickly how dumb I was to take it after having to stand in line at the post office. Worst yet, I still have not been paid!!!

Before I knew I wasn't going to get my money, they called for another one. I said "No" and they said they will not use me for regular signing if I won't do the RESPA. A blessing in disguise!!!

I don't know how those companies stay alive. They send out a notary and don't pay!!!! I HATE that. I do some signings for a company that pays me like 2 months after I did the signing.......it sucks and I'm going to cut down from them, but the "unexpected" checks are fun to receive later down the line.

Are you certain Above and Beyond is SS? I had spoken to someone at Above and Beyond that used to work for Signing Star and have moved to Above and Beyond.

I received this email warning from another NSA

It says it all......

"Stay far away form this lady. She owes me thousands of dollars, I sued won and then she transferred 100% of everything she owns to her daughter in law. On paper she owns nothing so my judgment is worthless. There is a special place reserved in a hot dark deep place some where out side of this world for this lady."
