Real Estate Fraud Suspects

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Real Estate Fraud Detail has obtained warrants for the arrest of Henry Aguilar and Magda Gonzales.

Henry Aguilar represented himself as a mortgage broker doing business as D’Core Inc., and Access America at 701 Howe Avenue. Magda Gonzales (Aguilar’s wife) was a Notary Public.

Aguilar and Gonzales obtained the victim’s personal and financial information during the process of handling loan applications to obtain financing and re-financing for home loans.

Henry Aguilar is suspected of forging the victim’s names, personal, and financial information on loan documents, Promissory Notes, Deeds of Trust, and Grant Deeds.

Magda Gonzales, acting in her official capacity as a Notary Public acknowledged the forged instruments, which were then submitted for recordation at various county recorder’s offices and/or submitted to lenders to obtain funds.

Henry Aguilar purchased and sold property in the victim’s name.

The victim’s property was sold and/or encumbered with second Deeds of Trust without their knowledge.

In addition to the loss of investment property in San Francisco, the victim had their identity stolen as Aguilar obtained lines of credit in their name.

Henry Aguilar obtained over $121,000.00 from the schemes.

Henry Aguilar and Magda Gonzales are being sought on charges of Identity Theft, Obtaining money and/property under false pretenses, Grand Theft, Forgery, Filing false real property title documents, and Conspiracy.

Henry Aguilar is being sought on a $750,000.00 arrest warrant. Magda Gonzales is being sought on a $100,000.00 arrest warrant. Aguilar and Gonzales have abandoned their homes and businesses and believed to have fled to Honduras leaving their juvenile child in Sacramento.
