Hmmm....I don't quite understand your question. If you're asking which loose certificate you should use to replace one that got messed up, my answer is to replace it with the same one. If you messed up an acknowledgment, then replace with an acknowledgment. Why would you want to change anything?

I am just curious

Did you stamp where you were supposed to sign on the certificate, or did you stamp where the borrower was supposed to sign????

Re: I am just curious

I would just attach an acknowledgement/jurat, whatever it's asking for. line out your stamp and initial it, then attach one. Smile

This is not meant to be mean spirited

But if you have no idea where to stamp or sign a simple ack or jurat you have no busines doing either loan signings or general notary work. My advice to you is either get some training fast, or drasticlally increase your E & O insurance

That is possible

A link on how to be successful in this business. First if your state has a handboock, review all and be familiar with it before you attempt another signing.

Re: This is not meant to be mean spirited

another example, I'll bet, of NNA churning out notaries by the hundreds. "Got commission, no knowledge to go with it"
