question regards to filing docs to county clerk

hi, i'm about to file my bond to the county clerk's office to work as a notary public.
there was one thing i didn't quite get. they say i have to attach 'a letter requesting a conformed copy of the bond'. what is that? is it something that i have to write and attach? i'm lost.
thanks in advance.

Jae - you don't have to worry about that unless..

UNLESS you want a copy of your FILING. I think I paid only $1 or so last time I took my oath and thought that was a bargain since I like copies of everything I purchase, etc for my tax records.

Being nervous when you're new, is nothing new! EVERYONE feels uneasy about all the paperwork and requirements and steps required in California. It's important that we try hard not to ever forget where we came from : The same place as you at one time. Reading the active boards is just one great way to learn Smile Good luck! kelly
