slowest EOM on record
This has to be the slowest EOM on record at least for me. I only have 4 for this week and 3 are from companies I never worked with before.
How is everyone else doing this month?

i've received normal amount of EOM calls, but have turned down more than usual because of low ball prices offered

I was extremely busy
Saturday, for instance I turned down 6 signings and I don't think any were under $100. Two of the the loans I did yesterday were negative amortization loans.
I am for the most part doing "Sub Prime" loans (I have always marketed myself to companies that do these types of loans.)
Hope everyone else had a busy EOM?

Re: I was extremely busy
this has been my worst month in a longgg time. March was one of my best! I have turned down several low pay, high milage jobs. I'm ready for a great May, please!

I had several people email me about "Sub Prime Co"
Many people emailed me to find out about Sub Prime Companies so I will post what I responded to the first person who emailed me.
For So. Calif: Sub Prime loans are done by companies such as: Ameriquest, Country Wide, Argent, Finance America (which is located in Irvine Ca) and almost every company advertising in a local Pennysaver/ or on any local radio station in So Calif.
Here was my answerer:
Work for sub prime companies and you will never lack for signing jobs but remember you will wind up in some of the "bad neighborhoods" as these are the neighborhoods that for the most part people that have bad credit live in but they are also very easy to sign and very nice people!

I tend to have more arguments with loan officers from sub prime companies, usually ID / CW related.

Very slow here as well. Oh and those sub primes.... what a waste! These poor borrowers are hit with the worst deals ever. I think they feel obligated to sign for all the pressure from these LO's...I see a lot of cancellations at the table with Countywide. And what the hell are these loan officers thinking?? I had one yesterday swear up and down that it was completely OK for me to accept an ID that has been expired for over 7 years! Yeah right! I'm no dumb ass!

Turned down lots of low-balls, took few real-pays
I've been at this 8 yrs.
Volume down to a trickel.
I used to do 4 every "last day to sign." Now I do one. I get calls for low fees to do many more. H*** w/ em.
Policy for last 2 years: no SS signings on last 3 days to sign. Got burnt for $300 from a no-pay SS that way. Never again.
I used to lots for TCT. Now that FASS has bought them out, I won't get much good-pay work from them. Same for Nreis now that they have cut my fees in half.
Heck with loan work. I'm going to chuck it and do local work only. At least they pay me at the appt.

Re: WHEW!!!
Just finished up with the 10th in the last 2 days. All TC, all good pay. The market is on fire here! I need to go to bed. ZZzzzzz!

Same for me. Very slow month. Didn't help that Comcast was down for 24 hours so I had to give away 2 closings yesterday. Hope it picks up soon.
