hmmmpphh... say NO to both of 'em.

NREIS can't find anybody to do their $60 signings, so they pay ND more $$ to find someone rather than pay the notary a decent fee. A curse on both their houses!

You are the fourth person I've heard say that NREIS is using other companies to farm out their work...they are also going to title companies and having them find notaries....evidently our boycott is having an effect.....the strange thing is the companies calling are offering decent rates...way more than the $90 edocs being offered by schedulers from NREIS. What do you make of this....maybe I'm stupid but I dont see the point..... why dont they just pay what they were paying before instead of resorting to going through another middle man and probably paying more in the long run.

Similarly, I got a call from e-title (Stewart Mortgage Information) for a C/W closing today. After looking at their return address, it's the same as NREIS. Agreed to my full fee....just like the 'old' days. Maybe NREIS is getting out of the business.....or farming it out.
