these newbie LO's...

got a call for an edoc signing, got a call back saying it was a first and second, it took 5 separate emails full of docs. Anyway, I printed a stack no smaller than a full websters dictionary. called SS they said go ahead and have borrower sign everything anyway. There were throughout the package no less than 6 of each junk docs including the domestic partnership form. By the time we were done, the borrower had the name and address of who the loan was being sold to memorized. and he knows for sure that he is not involved in a domestic partnership and probably feels that he is now a "victim" of the fair lending law LOL
It was the most ridiculous and repetitious package I have ever seen. It took over a full ream of paper to print both sets for a refi and HELOC.

I don't think the L/O would have had anything to do with this particular issue. Since you said "5 emails" and it was a combo, I'm wondering if each of the loan pkgs were sent twice?

If that were the case, I'd have called the lender (not the SS - which may have given you their 'default' answer instead of actually CHECKING to see if someone made a mistake). Going to the source is the best way to get a fast and correct answer. Just need to ask them "do you require 2 copies of each of your loan pkgs to be signed?"

If they say yes ... I'd then come right back here and post THAT info for everyone!

no that wasn't how it was the docs were interningled throughout the package. there was only one copy of each of the actual important papers in each package.
