Has anyone been approached by this company? I was recieved a call from them yesterday while at the fair so couldn't ask many questions. Has anyone heard of them? If so good bad or indifferent

More info pls...

Were they offering an appointment?

Were they offering you "membership" at anniemae.org? (If it was Annie Mae Cooperative.)

AnnieMae will provide you the software to interface with a bankruptcy attorney's own if he/her are using the one's commonly used today.

It would be up to you to market your business. Once you have it, as I understand it, you will be required to reveal all that information through the Annie Mae database. I have a problem with that. Sharing should not be mandatory, if that is the way it is.

What you are actually doing is asking an attorney to let you handle the client intake of their bankruptcy clients for a turn key price. I have a good bit of legal background, thought none of it is bankruptcy. However, I do have enough to know I don't know what the heck I am doing on a bankruptcy.

I have looked at the software and it's nice, however, it is going to take me a lot self-education and a good-sized set of huevos to approach an attorney and ask them to turn over this kind of client info to me so that I might be able to fumble through the situation and hopefully wind up with a bankruptcy petition which could actually accurate and filed correctly.

It's not impossible, but it's not a shoe-in for immediately profit, IMHO. Yet, always remember, and never forget, I have been wrong around seven or eight times. Smile

LOL well I have been wrong about that amount of times myself so I won't it hold it against. I don't know if I have the nerve to go to an attorney and ask myself....and I know some attorney's but they don't do bankrupties. I also agree sharing shouldn't be a mandatory thing. I know I don't like it when people give out info about me that I didn't want anyone else to know. Well thanks for your input. Have a wonderful weekend
