Another notary class just graduate?
Reading this page, it sure seems so. Please post your state, OK?

I'm in CA but have family in NC where I used to live. I have stamps for both states (which I think is ok?). I used to drive to SC to do closings before I learned it was a crime (UPL).

What Lee means is to set up your NR profile like this: DeliveryBoyCA so that people who are reading the board will know immediately whether or not to tune into your post. If you notice, Lee's handle has AR indicating Arkansas.

Don't worry about it too much...when you click on the post
it says you are from CA in the message.

DeliveryBoy says: "I think it's OK"**** I suggest you read
each states requirements for being commissioned regarding residency or employment criteria.

Understood. I'm not using my other notary stamp right now, just the CA one. If I move back I guess I should reapply, but who would know?

CA commission
If you are commissioned in CA, you cannot hold a commission in any other state, if I am reading your post correctly.

To janCA Re: CA commission
You misread my post. You can be commissioned in multiple states as long as you either meet the 'Resident" or "Work" requirement applicable to each state.
