BBB

I need to know legally what can I do with a SS that did not pay me since Feb. 2006? What are the steps? I read a lot on this forum about the BBB but how do I do it? And does it cost money? I already called a lot ant talked to them and they didn’t deny it but like they say ( we don’t know why you are not paid yet.) I also have sent about 8 faxed with my confirmation pages. Now, what do I do????????

http://search.bbb.org/ Go to the third tab over "File a complaint" You might also want to consider sending a demand letter. See message #110293 for an excellent example.

Have you tried calling the Title Company involved in the deal, kindly explaining the situation and asking them to assist you in getting payment? Title most likely already paid SS, so TC is not going to offer to pay you, but they can make a call on your behalf and this usually works wonders. If that doesn't work, contact the lender as the next step.

the problem here is I am talking about 4 signings, meaning more the one TC.

Call all the TC's involved. If there are four different TC's, then call all of them.

The BBB doesn't help with collections, but you can file a complaint on not fulfilling the contract. Write a demand letter and send it snail mail certified/return receipt requested, then if they don't respond, take them to small claims court.
