Blueink CA Update on brother MFC 8220
Mine is still jamming...I think on the drum. I jiggle the silver roller bar on the bottom of the drum, reinstall and it works fine...for awhile. I have a new drum ordered although it claims to be at 36% on the drum life yet

I don't know alot about printers, but I have the same one and while surfing for info on drums I found this site. It looks like something that might help? I also have jams often. grrrrrr http://www.precisionroller.com/catalog_display.php?step=3&&MfrID=112&ModelID=5403

Thank's for the update
I can't help but think it has something to do with the paper (and environment?) Sometimes it just hums along without a hiccup, other times jams every other page. I have found it helps to keep the trays full, seems to jam more when paper is running low.
Are you using generic supplies? Also, how do you know what % of use is left on the drum?

Re: Thank's for the update
Yes, I have been using generic toner. to check drum life press menu, 2, 0, 3. That shows you how much use is left. I'm at 17%, so I'm ordering a drum now. But so far so good, the print quality is ok still. There are types of paper that will jam up everytime. The paper that seems to work best for me is HP multipurpose. Keeping it full helps me too. Jams do get sooo irritating!
