BotherMFC8220 Help!

Its making a sound like paper crumbling but paper is coming out ok. Then it jams up right under the cartridge. I gave it a rest to cool down (I am printing the second set of piggy backs)
Any one have a clue why this is doing this?

Mine does the same thing. Here's what I do. Take the paper out, fan and put back in upside down. I keep a can of compressed gas duster (liquid air) nearby to blow out the feed rollers in the front of the drawers. If that doesn't work, cuss three times, and knock it off it's stand! j/k These units get a little tempermental...usually when you're short of time. GL

I am thinking humidity might have something to do with it. I did manage to get the docs all printed for tomorrow.Gotta give it some credit... close to 2 reams of paper in a short time. Think I need the ac on next time!

Re: BotherMFC8220 Help! Please read

Multifunction and All-in-One machines are not designed for the heavy printing (beating) in this business. They are designed for general office light uses.

Humidity and/or moisture have nothing to do with the problem described. It's the constant extreme heat (~400F) generated from the fusing unit slowly roasting every non-metal parts inside. Unless you already have a backup printer, I would highly recommend that you get one asap.
