Errors and Omissions Policy

Harry, could you please email or call me when you get a chance? I purchased a policy from you on effective June 30, 2006 for $240.00 and I just realized the expiration date is November 28, 2006 (my commission expiration date). I have renewed and received my new commission. My question is do I have to purchase a new policy, furnish proof I have renewed, or what? I called Merchants Bonding and they told me to contact you. I am sure you will know the right answer.

You purchased a 4-year, commission-term policy, so our system set the expiration date to your commission expiration date. We don't have the shorter-term policies in our store because 99% of the policies we sell are written toward the beginning of the commission term on a full-term basis; the cost of coverage/year is generally less that way and the term conveniently tracks the bond term (in bonding states).

I will e-mail you with some options.
