Got an interesting call today....

MB called me to ask me who at my company his clients should call to take care of a problem. Ofcourse my reply was that I'm an independent notary, and what closing was her referring to. He said I closed a loan for his clients last Friday, and they recieved their $40,000 check yesterday. They use the same bank the check was drawn on, and when they went to deposit it, the bank told them that there was insufficient funds. I told him that when I got home, I'd give him the settlement companies phone number, which I did.
