I am a victim of Nationwide Notaries who went out of business before paying me for my services on 6/14/06. I called to follow up on my payment and the phone number was disconnected. I called the escrow company and was told their is nothing they can do because they paid the notary company for the loan which closed. I was given a contact name and number to follow up however, I have left several messages and no return call. Has this happen to anyone? and if so, is their a way to collect payment for services rendered?

There is a second website listed for the owner on the link I provided on the previous post. If you go to that site, there are contact numbers listed under the contact us tab.

Not a problem. I hate to see anyone not get paid for their work. I love tracking down these unscrupulous individuals that prey/victimize hard working NSAs.

Terri, I am in the same boat as you. I did not get paid for 2 signings I did for this company and I have been trying to get my money until I found out they are out of business. It is very sad that companies do this to people! I am not really sure if you can take a company to collections if they've closed doors.
