Help!...Vital Signing test doc

Anyone else get an e-mail regarding a test for e-docs from Vital Signing? I just got a Brother HL5240 and have been trying to get it to print first test page letter & 2nd page legal...cannot do it. Have followed all the advice in previous postings and I'm pretty sure I have the printer set up correctly, but it seems to be a problem with the DT Document Viewer and Winzip programs they want us to use. Anyone have any suggestions. Appreciate the help.

The best advice I could give in this situation is to not work for Vital.
I gave up on them when they cut fees. Haven't worked for them in over a year.

Lucie, I have worked with Vital for many years and have had nothing but a great relationship with them and consistant work. I suggest you need to call Vital directly to get guidance and assistance with you printing issue as they are very helpful. I also recently purchased a new printed and used their website as a guide. It offers a list of printers that can print ALL types of docs...you might want to see if your is on there.

The one thing I can say about them is I never have to ask for my payments.....they just keep coming....you got to love that!

You're only making about 25% of what they take in.

Vital Signing fees and policies

At one time they were one of my best customers. They were super consistent in paying the notary, and they had great personnel on the phones. Even doing Ameriquest e-docs was OK once you got the technique down pat. But when they dramatically changed their fees to absurdly cheap levels I decided not to work for them anymore, and guess what? There are other SS out there that will pay on time, provide great support and keep my business going.

Sometimes you can expand a business too much, too fast, and sometimes you can get greedy and then you lose your best people, in this case the experienced and reliable notary who just wants to get a fair shake for a job well done.

And yes, after many monthis they called me to fix a signing that some newbie notary had messed up. Even then they wanted to pay an unrealistic price. I said no, and felt good about upholding my standards.
