Just got a call from LIA

For a signing clear across the state from me - said she wasn't sure where it was but "our zip codes were close" - is Fernandina Beach in Columbia County???...she said it was..?? Far as I know I have no "beaches" near me..

She's going to call me back if she can get my fee approved (ya think?) - I'm taking bets now too..<G>

After I hung up with them I did a Search - I saw those posts...they're not going to meet my price anyway - I'd have to go over 130 miles one way - I don't do that for free - and after reading the posts there's no way I'm going to travel 5 hours for a closing to wait that long to be paid.

On the good side for them - the call was today for a closing tomorrow at 7:00 - lots of prior notice..

They never called me back for this closing.. Guess they didn't want to pay me to go 133 miles one way AND an E-doc fee too...<G>

after I called the lender. I don't think they are going to call me again.

LOL, "said she wasn't sure where it was but "our zip codes were close" "......the lack of professionalism in this business never ceases to amaze me.......between the scammers who change addresses/contact #'s and the dead beats who have to be threatened with legal action to pay up, I'm glad I opted out of this nutty venture......

to the legitimate and honest SS's out there, I extend a "thumbs up"......to the ones I just described above, uhmmm, you get the picture

Believe me - that literally had me shaking my head - my zip is 32038 - Fernandina Beach is 32035 - she figured that was okay...??? Then she said "Columbia County, right?"...well, that's where I am but Fernandina Beach is Nassau County...

Like I said - no call back so guess she didn't want to pay the trip fee..<G>
