MY HP 3015 Died
and now I begin the search for a new printer. Decisions Decisions, do I want another all-in-one, or should I get a printer and a fax? A friend of mine got a Panasonic printer that works great and is still on the oringal cartridge, where my HP went through ink like crazy. I am reading the past posts on printer options, but suggestion are always welcommed.

I have 2 Dell 1700's, one regular and one 1700n. I love them. Got them both new off of ebay and then bought the second drawer, they are even cheaper now than they were when I bought them. I have about $150.00 in each printer including the second drawer. They are very toner efficient and as fast as I need, 29 ppg. HP has the better name but the worse price so I guess it's just a personal decision.

1700 or 1710
Dell has 1710's on the site now, is that the same as what you have? Or a newer version? Thanks

PCL6?
Are the Dell printers able to print PCL6 formatted docs?

Re: PCL6?
Depends on which model, but the 1700 model is pcl6 compliant as I own one.
