Max Tinder in Aliso Viejo, CA

Has anyone ever worked for this guy? He contacted me for a job in July and represented himself as working for the Dana Capital Group, but they told me they don't know who he is. I am trying to contact him regarding the payment I am owed.

What is the Name of the Credit group. I have also done some work for A company in Aliso Viejo. Last month and not yet been paid. want to make sure we have the same person before I put there name out there. I was told I would receive a check next week. But if not I will let you guys know.

On one of his e-mails, it says Sage Credit, Inc at the very bottom. I have not yet contacted them; I just noticed that while reviewing the correspondence. I have a call in to the title company as well.

Both companies (Dana Capital Group & Sage Credit) have the same address in Irvine, Ca.

Brad_CA- Thank you for the BBB link, I didn't think to check that. Both companies are located in the same building - Dana Capital is suite 1200 and Sage is Suite 200. Dana Capital said they sometimes get their wires crossed for some reason. Both companies are probably very reputable, but this Max Tinder person seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth and I honestly cannot tell who he works for at this point.

Just a suggestion but why not try calling SOX and just asking for him and see if they know him. Then you will know whether or not he is working for SOX.

Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions. I called every company and person associated with the file, and I did find someone who knew who Max Tinder was. He does not work for SOX as far as I can tell. This loan did not fund, but the person who knew him did speak to him on my behalf and I did finally receive a money order from Max in payment for my services.
