Mobile office safety...tips

After restlessly trying convince a bunch of techless knowledge on N1, I thought it maybe important for everyone here who had or is contemplating on installing a mobile office. A Pure Sine inverter is required to run a laser printer, period.

A Modified Sine inverter does not provide the consistent smooth power as will a pure sine or household electricity. A MS has a rectangular wave length compared to the smooth (S) on a PS. Therefore, MS inverter would cause a printer (or any equipments) transformer to work harder (and hotter) to compensate for the difference to reach it's true power.

Logic tells me that if you overworked anything electrically, it will burned-out. So, please think twice and hard before or if you had already went cheap instead of paying for the right equipment. My most concern in this case is the risk of ELECTRICAL FIRE from equipment failures. This may never happen, but for the sake of SAFETY do it right.

Check out the link below to learn more about inverters.

I totally agree with you, Andy.

I'm convinced that the newbies over there don't visit the site to learn, but visit to give each other group hugs and pats on the back. The misinformation over there is monumental. The site reminds me of newbie Notary Romper Room. That place is a joke and an embarrassment to the Notary community.
