NNA/Collection Agency Info

I am posting this info in hopes that others will not get the same run around I did.
The Collection Agency that has teamed with the NNA, to assist us in retrieving our fees, so far has been a difficult process.
I faxed them my "collection fee agreement" 3 times, each time calling to confirm receipt and getting the run around. Long story short, they only accept contingency agreements for amounts over $250. Which was not stated on the website. If you have an amount under $250 you will need to do a flat fee collection. This is $12.95 with a 20% discount if you are with the NNA. With this amount, they send 4 letters to the debtor and thats it. You must pay them the flat fee weather they collect or not.

As many times as I had to call them to get things rolling, and then finding out they will only send 4 letters, I could have done this myself and saved the money.
Good luck and if anyone has a better method for the future...I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for posting this information. I have wondered about the process that they use before. As usual the NNA makes it sound like Fillet Mignon and it turns out to be hamburger!

I've posted this before. 30% fee ONLY if collection is successful. And collection fees
can be added to the amount owed.

Thanks Rick. I'm going to contact them on Monday. I have a fee due from Michael Lascano that I have had NO luck collecting.
