New SS's/Websites/forums

I just opened an email from a new company, I just got a spam saying I "signed up with them". I never did. Free listing for 6 months, then I have to pay them?
Do these people steal our info from this site?
I won't give them the pleasure of a plug (direct competetion to NR), but their forum is completely empty.
Did anyone receive the same email?

No...funny as it may seem, I did not receive the email. However, it's been forwarded to me, and rumor has it that it's Lulu and Drakester's newest attempt at whatever it is they have attempted.

Rumor, I said, rumor.

And to think Lulu called me a wolf in sheep's clothing on another site. Fox, Lulu. I am a *fox* in sheep's clothing.

Scroll to the bottom...

of the site and it clearly indicates the offender.

Once again, we had them nailed.

L&D have fun and I hope you find the same success that your predecessor, BS has recently found.

I'm serious here Who are these people Lulu & Dragster?

I keep up with the boards but I have no idea who Lulu & Dragster are? I was on vacation for a few days so are they a signing company or what? Please email me at [e-mail address] and tell me who these names are.

It could be I have gone brain dead (not for the first time) and I should know Lulu & Dragster but I just don't recognize them from their names.

Good grief, with all the bad/or good comments on this board concerning me over the last 4 years why would I say I didn't know who Lulu & Dragster were ?

I don't think this is Missy and Drakester

Why? The web development company is owned by a person by the name of Anthony Drake. Second, the site is in Indiana (Indianapolis); Missy & Drakester are in Iowa.

I'm not trying to defend L&D or the owners of this "new" venture, but more research needed to be done prior to jumping to the conclusion.

Of course, I may be wrong, but I don't think so, in this instance.

**rumor has it** and **Rumor, I said, rumor.**

I did not do my own research on this. Thus my comments above.

On another note, whoever the owner is, they have definitely been presumptious in listing the names of those as members which they did. Some on that list found it offensive to be added without permission.

That's not rumor.

As always, please complete your research for factual information when trying to slander a particular company. Every person that has been entered into our database has physically went to our website and registered.

Chill your jets, IMS. First of all, the company's name has not been mentioned. It's a little tough to do that without mentioning a company's name.

Are you for certain about each person registered in clear terms to be listed at the referenced website? The notary who told me this is not given to baldface lying. And besides...

How to do you even know what website is being discussed here? Are you clairvoyant?

Re: I don't think this is Missy and Drakester

It's completely obvious which company is being referred to in this discussion. Our emails were sent out yesterday stating that their information has been entered into our system.

Notaries were completely aware of what they were registering for at the time of sign-up, as it was stated explicitly on the registration page.

It's also obvious that you cannot possibly have a full schedule of closings yourself, since you are always on this board - morning, noon, and night, with your opinions and negative comments about any other business.

It sounds like it might not hurt for you to sign up yourself.

Sincerely,

Indiana Mortgage Closings

Well what do you know, I learned something new today

1. Indiana Mortgage Closings obviously doesn't understand the nature of the signing business very well. I have a "full schedule" of closings today - 10:30 am, 2 pm, and 6 pm. That gives me plenty of time in between closings to do all sorts of stuff, including posting on this board at all hours of the day.

2. Any company who does something as monumentally stupid as coming on this board and insulting the very people they're trying to get business from is a company that clearly doesn't know jack about marketing. I'm as mouthy as they come, yet I also know when I need to bite my tongue.

So lets see, a company that doesn't understand the signing business very well and doesn't understand marketing at all wants me to invest my advertising dollars in them so they can help market my name for me. Yeah, that's going to happen.

But I will give credit where credit is due. It normally takes days or weeks for new people on this board to show their true colors. IMC managed to show their incredible incompetence in a couple of posts. Well done!

Re: Well what do you know, Cali gets the prize...

You are correct, Cali, in all your statements above..

IMS has shown their IM @SS. Let's add to that they do not have a clue about the Tx market.

I am never unclear about the peak/valley/flatt signing business in Texas. Nor do I ever over-inflate the amount of signings I do.

In Tx, it's not like it is elsewhere...Indiana shows additional ignorance for expecting a Tx signer to be in high gear on the 9th of the month on signings - nope. Even the NNA has published information about this.

Are you able to read and comprehend

The information was stated as rumor and not as fact, but you skipped over that fact twice. You should put your name on your website to make it clear as to who owns it. You would do yourself a service by making it clear by name that you aren't related to the poachers. No it's not your fault that there is a big coincidence here, but it still remains. You don't want to look at all related to them.

You are all the most insane people that I have ever came across on a message board. You obviously don't have anything better to do. I guess that's why I was out doing closings this evening, while you were still sitting at your computers freaking out over an opportunity to get your name out there.

I didn't realize that all of you were shareholders in NotaryRotary's stock. I was just trying to help out fellow Signing Agents and not trying to impose on NotaryRotary. This is a great site, except for the idiots that are on the message boards of course.

By the way, the other message boards (with normal people posting) loved the idea and many of them signed up. Have fun sitting at your desks moaning and groaning about EVERYTHING. Maybe eventually you will get some work. LIGHTEN UP!

ROFL... Nothing like reading roguish indignation based upon being misinformed as to the criteria for e-mail delivery and database compilation.
Ahhh...How sweet the tergiversated ramblings of a service representative, in which their own confutation becomes injurious to their purpose, and besmirches the already questionable 'service' in general...

I now ponder the depths of infringement for those whom were unknowingly and/or unwittingly placed upon this database of implied prosperity.....

A copy of the information that you submitted has been forwarded to your email.

We have no affiliation with "Lulu" or anyone else for that matter.

What the heck is going on here? If someone ripped my information off from NR and pasted it into their site, I'd be looking for some answers/explanation.

Wow, Harry and Tracy should be paid a fee for all the parasites they have living off of them.

Re: Like PAW, I did NOT submit my information to you

You have been deleted from our database. For future reference, you may want to make a list of the companies that you sign up so that this doesn't happen again.

Here is what you typed in under the comments area when you signed up:

"We work days, too! We accept RE docs, loan docs, DMV docs.
Small travel fee for general notarizations."

Ironically, the two of you that say you can't remember registering with our site both signed up on the same day (April 21st) which was the last time this issue was discussed on NotaryRotary.
