Non paying companies.

Recently while doing some research on this whole notary process I came across a site that lists different non paying companies. I didn't join just because I believe in supporting those that support me. I have found this site to be one of the best sites on the web for notaries and would like to personally thank them for doing this for all of us. Once I am ahead a little I plan on joining the site and showing them support. I encourage everyone to also consider showing your support by joining if you are able. I am hoping that in the future they offer more services to us like the site that lists the non paying companies or maybe get us a discount to join that site if we are a member of NotaryRotary. Because I am new I am still concerned about getting payment from the companies that ask me to do signings for them. I guess it is all a learning process.
Ok I am gone on long enough.......please give some thought to what I have said about supporting these people on this site. Thanks

Search this site for Non paying companies.

The N/R community is very generous in sharing their experiences with the companies we all work with. You can use the Search feature to find any issues with particular companies, and in this venue you will also be able to read the details of that issue. THAT is important (rather than just reading a list of so-called 'no no' companies) because it allows you to make a more informed decision about whether or not the accusations are justified, or isolated to just one or two Signing Agents. Please always bear in mind that every relationship with any individual company is half THEM and half YOU - and someone else's experience might not accurately portray the company's normal/usual behavior.

If you search for and don't find a particular company, you can solicit for advice by posting, and in the subject line write: "[company's name] - G/B/U?" (stands for "good, bad, ugly?"Wink and if there's anything anyone has to say about them, they will. Bear in mind - it will only be their own, personal experience - you'll need to apply a little common sense when interpretting the responses. 10 negative responses expressing similar experiences means one thing, and 1 negative experience plus 5 positive experiences means something else entirely.

Personally, my own humble experience has been overwhelmingly positive and I've never needed to keep a list, because those companies that are notoriously 'bad' aren't that numerous that I can't just remember their names. Working ONLY for profitable fees will weed out the majority of parasitic companies (apparently, as I have not had any payment issues ... shh, I did not say that out loud as that would be tempting fate!)
