OT - Evan Update - Warning Religious Overtones

Thank you all for your prayers.


I just received this note from Evan's mom to share with notaries. Yesterdaym I received a note that the doctor did NOT see juvenile arthritis in the test results. That kind of made me pause that it could be something worse...oh, me of little faith...anyhow, it's a joyous occasion.

Evan is doing better today. He hasn't had a fever and he's eating some.
Wow! Plus, he just seems to have more energy!

LkA - It's like me (Christian) and a grandpa (Jew) on this board have said when we supported each other in prayer...we don't care what the form of the prayers are, when it's our babies and our family are involved we are an equal opportunity prayer group.

Thank you for your positive thoughts. Every second you have spent them on Evan is appreciated.

That is such great news Brenda. When I was little and had been sick and was just getting better I used to eat macaroni and cheese. If I could I would serve Evan up a bowl. So we will just keep praying.

OT - Thanks for the Update! re Evan...

Just got off the phone with his nana. She said he's still uninterested in walking, but he's crawling around now and eating. No more black circles under his eyes. He has taken two steps. This is a far cry from the earlier reports of him not walking, being listless and running a temp.

He will be retested on Tuesday. I very much appreciate your prayers...my cousin and family all do.

That is excellent news!

In our family, mom and dad would say it was "meaness" coming out of us when we were sick. It would always make us kids laugh.

I am so happy to hear that little Evan is feeling better, that is wonderful news! He will continue to be in our prayers that he is soon back to his normal self, the way only a two year can be (over active).

Brenda, thank you for letting us know how Evan is progressing. Haven't had much time to read the board lately but am delighted to hear he's doing better. Even if the doc's haven't figured out what's wrong, some progress is better than none
