OT OT OT - Evan's Blog
http://prayforevan.blogspot.com/
Those of you who are joining me in praying for Evan have truly been kind and your thoughts, notes and prayers have meant much. We had some improving news and I still believe it was a wonderful sign.
Additional bloodtests have come back and the most current news is unsettling. In order to be respectful of NR's true purpose, I have set up a blog where you can find the latest information I know.
I would impose on NR one more time about this however, to publish a link to this blog and to Evan's picture. The blog link is above, and the link to his picture is here: http://texas-signing-agent.com/SMEVANCARD.JPG
I am just now getting this information method of blogging established.
Thank you for all your prayers. Please become a regular reader of http://prayforevan.blogspot.com.

Thank you so much Tina and Christi - I appreciate it and so does the family. The family does not read notaryrotary.com (he he he, at least I hope they don't!) however, they will be reading the blog. Anyone can comment with name, or anonymously. Your comments on the blog would mean SO MUCH. Thanks again.

Thank you Brenda. What a great way to reach out for prayer, and to keep up-to-date on Evan. You are a special person.

Barbara - when this all began and I reached out to you guys it meant so much to his family when I forwarded your comments to them.
Now that we know we are almost 100% sure to be facing leukemia, this kind of small effort is nothing in the big scope of things.
If any of you are so inclined, please do post your prayers and your awareness on this blog. The family is already writing me at how much this means to them. As one who has faced tragedy, though not of this magnitude, I can tell you it is powerful and helpful.
Thank you so much.

Brenda- my heart goes out to Evan's family. My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at five. It is one of the most heart wrenching things a parent can go through. The good news is that research has come a long way, and what used to be impossible, has become very possible. I don't know what type of leukemia Evan has, but the most common childhood ones are now about 80 percent curable. My daughter Simone spent three years in treatment, now off treatment 16 months and thriving. I thank God ( and the excellent doctors and nurses who took such good care of her for so long )every day I wake up and see my precious daughter. My prayers are with Evan and his family.
