OT - Scam Letter - Beware this WAH Opportunity

Hi friends,

From time to time I receive one of these scams. Nothing new, except it hits home.

The bad thing is that I know of a woman in Oyster Creek, Texas who was arrested because she was doing this work-from-home opportunity.

This lady was ordering merchandise and shipping it using a stolen credit card. She did not realize the credit card was stolen. She thought the card belonged to the company she was working for.

This scam was posted by others last year...this is just a reminder. I just got this letter today.

Wonder how many are taken in by this scam.

That address actually belongs to a furniture company - they recycle wooden furniture

Re: OT - Scam Letter - Beware this WAH Opportunity..however-

MySimon.com is a legit site that does comparison shopping. It ihas been owned by CNET Networks, Inc. since 2000.

The email Brenda posted is a scam, and those who do not know any better may just click on the link to MySimon.com that is in the email.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, and NEVER OR EVER click on a link in a questionable email!!!!!!!

Re: OT - Scam Letter - Beware this WAH Opportunity..however-

I bet dollars to donuts that if someone clicked on the link it wouldn't take them to the legitimate mysimon.com website.
The mysimon.com website was created in April 1998
