Only works with IE browsers

ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a webpage. ieSpell also works (right-click menu only) on other IE based browsers such as SlimBrowser, CrazyBrowser, MSN, MyIE, etc. but not with Mozilla, Netscape or Firefox.

Mozilla and Firefox users can use Spellbound from Sourceforge.

How to Install Spellbound for Firefox users

Here's a great tutorial on how to install the Firefox spell checker software, depending on which version of Firefox you are using.

Sourceforge is not actively working on fixing the current version of Spellbound because it is working on incorporating it directly into Firefox "out of the box". Firefox version 2 will have a spell checker as a basic part of the browser.
