OT/ rates for land

Does anyone know about buying land, and what good rates would be? I just found out that rates are not the same as if you are purchasing a home. We just bought a piece of land in Tennesse, so now I need opinions on what type of loans are available for improved property loans.

No, we have a real estate agent we met in N. Carolina when my husband was there for business. He has been showing us some investments. This particular parcel is in Lake Norris right outside of Knoxville. Anyone in Tennesee know if this area is nice?
