And, before anyone thinks it's competition to this site, it's not. It's a free email list.

You see, there *IS* a difference.

although you are right Brenda & I agree with you...but I seem to remember that another FREE message board forum for Notaries/CNSA's was mentioned on the forum here and several people had a "cow" about it and claimed it was "advertising". isn't that sort of contradictive? Just a thought ...& not to start a conflict of any sorts. why is it some here can promote thier message board and it not an "advertisment" while there are others who may also mention "a forum" and it is an "advertisment?

to me we all are here or there to share, to learn & to grow successfully in our profession. Not everyone who uses this board pays membership, even if it is encouraged to in order to benefit more.... Some of the other boards doesn't even encourage it. Its a choice.

Just an observation. Will be quiet now! <wink> ...lol

Re: PAW's Yahoo Notary Board - Wrong Logic Dee.

Both of the FREE message boards / forums were planning to, or were already charging a fee. As far as the signing service board being advertised here, that's a commercial outfit which should be PAYING Harry to advertise as a signing service, or at least to get promoted through his board. NR promotes the INDEPENDENT NOTARY. That other one is building content to promote a SIGNING SERVICE. The fools who post at length there are usurping the good of NRs advertising efforts on Google. I was foolish and actually started posting for a short time in order to get the straight skinny out on fees and Helocs in Texas. My ego got the best of me. I have reeled it in and cancelled my membership.

Yours is exactly the kind of post I expected and was waiting for. Don't let others tell you they were not doing it for the money to get the word out through NR. You are being played for a fool.

I am glad to have this opportunity to tell you that your concept on this is wrong. Not in my opinion, but factually.

This goes for every person who has gotten their feelings hurt on NR b/c Harry did not let them mooch off of him. Moochers are moochers are moochers.

That's why I posted in defense of Paul who has been so gracious to HELP every notary here.

Moochers don't want to do their own work. They want others to build their mailing lists, promote their forum and then they start making a profit. They use the good name of others to further their projects. I get contacted weekly by a proposed partner who wants me to help them make money of my notary friends. Kiss my buddy...the answer will be NO unless you have a good product to sell the notary. If I think it is good, I will promote it.

Re: PAW's Yahoo Notary Board - Wrong Logic Dee.

Brenda..I'm sorry if you think my "logic" is wrong...but we all have a right to our own opinons and observation and I see nothing wrong to what I shared. There was nothing wrong to what I said and I think you misunderstood of what I was truely trying to say. You seem awfully defensive there. No need to. Really. I was just sharing my own observation of what some can do and what others can't do. It just seems contradictive to me. Funny though, I'm not the only one who too have noticed this. And this was NOT an "attack" on PAW (Paul) or his Yahoo group. It had nothing to do with with him or his site. The point why people are refer to his site with information but if someone uses another site/forum as a reference guide for information it is considered "advertisement" when the place does NOT even require funds! (At least I'm not aware of anything or not to my knowledge it is).

So again....I apologize if you misunderstood of what I was really trying to say. But my logic was NOT wrong.

And BECCA.... get a life! Stop policing my grammer and spelling. THAT IS NOT THE POINT...and remember there is mistyping. However I looked back at my post and saw only one error and it was a mistype not intentionally mispelled. plus NR does not have spell check here!!!

Dee.

>>>There was nothing wrong to what I said and I think you misunderstood of what I was truely trying to say.<<<

If you would just speak and type using the guidelines of correct grammar, perhaps there would be no misunderstandings.

Half the time, nobody knows what the heck you are talking about. PLEASE, get help! How do you expect to earn the respect of others if you can not articulate your message?

You may not have to be a member to read the posts, however membership to the group is required to post.
