Semi-OT: Visted links not staying "visited"
Normally when we click on a link it changes from the not-visited color (blue?) to the visited color (red?). Here at NotaryRotary, when I change from Threaded view to Linear view OR log back in all the links. whether I've visited them or not, show up in the not-visited color. (I hope this is making sense!)
Anybody know how I can get the visited links to STAY visited?
TIA!

Using IE? Click on Tools, Internet Options, and in the bottom right corner you'll see Accessibility box, click on that, and the 1st option you see is "Ignore colors specified on web pages". Put a check mark in that box and click OK on every menu until you've backed out.

Re: Semi-OT: Visted links not staying "visited" - more info.
What I described above will override the web settings. However, the web page itself will appear a little differently - not as much color.
Also, if you view msgs on a "threaded" view and then switch to "linear" view, it will not show that you have viewed the msg in the threaded view...but...if you view messages in the linear view they will show as "viewed" - which they were not showing as viewed before.
I don't think is quite what you were looking for, but it's a start in showing what was viewed in linear view. Hope this helps.

Thank you, thank you!
I have wondered about that often, never thought to ask here though!
