confession...

is good for the soul...Just to show you that I'm not perfect.

Just got reamed by LSI for sending docs back to lender. There was a pre-printed FedEx label embedded in the doc pkg and I sent them without thinking or reading anything else.
Just goes to show you - even when you are swamped to the gills, always read your instructions from the contracting body.

In the future, so that you all know - if you don't already, Never send LSI docs to anyone else

I've recently had a couple of signings that had conflicting instructions on who to send the docs back to.

The original confirmation stated the docs were to be sent back to one place, and instructions in the package (in huge bold letters) stated that the docs should be sent back to them.

I thought about it for a couple of minutes and decided to call and double check. I'm glad I did, because I was leaning towards the instructions in the package (in huge bold letters) and that would have been incorrect.

I think these companies should have clear concise instructions and not have conflicting instructions in the package. If I had been extra busy I might not have bothered double checking.

Thanks for sharing this Charm. Tonight I had a package that had a 2nd page of Closing Instructions tucked away in the middle with a bunch of Affidavits. I thought after reading the Instruction Sheet on top that I knew everything I needed to know about this loan. NOT TRUE!!!
