Leslie, Re: new loan signing agent

Leslie, Good Morning and Welcome to the board!

First of all use the orange tab button to search for message
number 33325. You can also enter "new signing agent"
or "new notary" and and many posts/threads will appear.

If you are in need of a mentor (or other reference material)
please free to e-mail me, as I can give you a list of names etc . . .

Again, Welcome!

Pam

Re: new loan signing agent/Free NSA Book - Doc

Doc,

I plugged you because I believe you are a very good marketer.

It may take some time to burn yourself into the consciousness of the industry around you, however, you will become an "icon" among others in Vegas.

This may not work for my neck of the woods, but I have my own method of doing things here which work for us/my network. In this area I would waste my time soliciting the brokers. I focus on the national title companies who are used for this area. You have a different situation. Local brokers will remember you.

People need to think of a reason to become "memorable." (BTW - that's "good" memorable, not "bad" memorable.)

Welcome to the biz Leslie! My advise, find a mentor here or somewhere close to you so that you can learn about the biz and the paperwork. The more knowledgable, comfortable and prepared you are with the paperwork and forms, the better off you will be. Remember that you dictate your fees and no one else.

Good luck!

Check your responses from 8/23/06

Leslie, you posted this same question on August 23 and received several responses on the 23rd and the 24th. Didn't you read them and take the advice? Surely, if you would have and would have read the boards every day for the past 5 days, you would acquired even more information. This is not an entitlement board. Nothing is given away on a silver platter. Read and research.
