pdf dcos print REALLY slowly!!!

Please help! I am new at this and everytime I get an e-Doc where the company has scanned in the docs to a pdf file (as opposed to creating it pdf) my printer takes forever to read it and print it out - for example, just yesterday it took my printer an hour to print 96 pages on legal paper - and to make matters worse I have to instruct my printer to print it 11 pages at a time because instructing it to do any more would freeze it!!! Does ANYONE experience this?

FYI: I use a 2 month old hp laser jet 3015.

Re: lots of printer experience on these boards

You can find just about any answer on these boards, don't be afraid to ask the question after searching using the orange tab. Now, back to your printer. Usually, embedded memory (or lack therof) is the culprit. Find out how much you have, and order a card with the max amount of memory you can load into your printer. I use a smaller brand HP and had similar problems until I max'ed out the memory (for about $50) and now it actually prints FASTER than the 21ppm that the manufacturer boasts. Good luck, and happy signings!

Re: lots of printer experience on these boards

Howie is right! I maxed out my memory on my HP1320tn. What a difference.

You can't increase the memory on the hp 3015

Try going to the advance setting and hit print as image.
