4 HUDs for FL closings

I always notice the extra huds in the package, but didn't realized on Monday that TC changed their procedure now require notary/attorney to print them up.

Will the FL experts please educate me on the 4 copies requirement to close in FL?

No can do

I have some clients who want 1 HUD, some want 3 HUDs, some want 5 HUDs and some want 6 HUDs.
I cannot explain it to you other than it is not legal requirement, but a TC or lender requirement.

Re: No can do

Some companies want fully executed (signed) copies of the HUD rather than 'certified copies'. The HUD is like a receipt of closing and is distributed to many different parties including (but not limited to and may not be needed by):

Borrower/Buyer
Seller (if there is one)
Title company
Title Insurance Underwriter
Escrow Officer/Agent (for disbursement)
Current Lender
Servicing Lender
Lender's Investor
Investor's Underwriter
Mortgage Broker
Real Estate Agent or broker
