I've done some work for them - no problems with payment at all, under 30 days.

Re: E-Title.....good/bad/ugly?
Recently I have had E-Title accept my fee, send a confirmation, then send a cancellation notice (after I have confirmed with borrower). Called E-Title to question cancellation (asking if borrowers have been notified) only to learn that reason was my fee was too high and they had found another notary at a lesser fee. Ask if the borrowers are aware of the change, yes do not concern yourself we will take care of it. I reaffirm the appointment time with E-Title so that the newly assigned notary will be timely, per E-Title all has been taken care of.
The day of the signing the borrower calls me extremely upset that I have not shown up for the appointment. Let them know another notary has been scheduled to handle the signing and to call their lender with any problems.
I personallly will not work for them again. The old saying "you get what you pay for".

That is a shameful practice and I agree with you. They should never confirm if they are going to continue to look for a lower fee acceptance.
