Expert signings

Does anyone have info on Expert Signings in CA? Good, bad or indifferent? I went to the orange button but it wouldn't work. Thanks, DD

Why waste time with the Orange button? I thought you would not accept a signing unless your term of guarantee payment is satisfied at booking.

LOL Andy

Some people post nonsense thinking some of us don't recall what they post.
Like you, I recall that post.
What about that DD?
Have you changed your tune this quickly?

And I quote DD/OR:

<<<here's my plan. When a company calls and we agree on everything, I will tell them to pay 1/2 up front (overnight it) and the balance when escrow closes. If they don't agree, I don't do it. >>>

Re: You guys are bad. LOL

Not as bad as the momos who keep posting this nonsensical rhetoric.
Best wishes to the vulnerable folks who accept this garbage as NSA gospel.
Apparently, that ridiculous tactic didn't work out for DD.

Re: Msg 163621

Thanks Misti, I had forgotten that last week I was a bottom feeder and a blight on the profession, for offering my look at her question. Wow what a difference a week makes, looks like her and her compatriot in California are not doing real well with that "pay before we play" theory. Too bad.

Re: Msg 163621

I'm just glad she applied that theory b/c it's only a ten minutes drive before I'm in her territory. Matter of fact, I was there twice last week.

yep yep...just been waiting to see how successful the "pay before you play" theory worked. Obviously not too well.

Re: LOL Andy

Ha-Ha... the laughs on you. I made you look. It made you feel good to gang up on me, did it? This is your mindset. You should be really proud of yourselves. Wow..it took a whole gang of you. I'm aware that some posters on this board remember certain posts, expecially if they don't agree with you. And the same people (I know who they are) love to throw things in your face if they don't agree. The first thought that comes to mind to describe them is 'mean spirited' but on 2nd thought, I think they have a hidden agenda. I suspect the same people who love to 'get even' on this board are signing services. It's too bad because other notaries are watching the board and can see what's going on. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Because If they gang up on me for a previous post, they will gang up on other notaries as well. What this boils down to is Notary Rotary is not going to get as much response from Notaries, over all. I don't ususally respond to small minds that are just looking for an argument who have nothing better to do. The same 'get even' crowd just don't get it. End of thead!

Re: LOL Andy

Sorry Andy...I can't resist. DD, no one is for/against you. It's just a lesson learned a very long time ago....be careful when you put pen to paper because you can never get those words back. Those that had a different slant on buy here pay here you branded lowball notaries that were working harder for less pay. You delighted in throwing stones at those of us that stated our opinion while you were talking yours. They have a saying here "if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch"

Some kids just don't get it.
DD-take your toys and go home, since you won't play your own game if you can't win.

Speaking of wooden spoons...

Where did mom get those wooden spoons... one or two, you didn't need more than that... that were 1)Older than me, a pretty coffee brown. 2) Strong enough to thwack a muscular teenage but. 3) could stir the stiffest cookie dough... and lasted forever.

Being a single fella I don't need to thwak anyone, but I could use a decent spoon... these #$%@ white ones you get today, lucky if you can stir a thick split-pea soup without breakin the stupid things... maybe I just need to shop at a classier WalMart??

William Sonoma is the place to go, Gary...

I've had quite the assortment over the years. Sadly, some of my favorites were laid to rest due to overuse (a fact to which my son will attest). When coupled with lightning speed and deadly accuracy, a well-placed 'THWACK' on a sizable teenage boy can break a wooden spoon!
Rumour has it that my auntie got such a kick out of my kids' response to me 'reaching for the drawer' that she's sending me a couple dozen new ones (bear in mind, my boy is 25 and the girl is 14... she flinches, he takes off running STILL!)
Fear.... can you smell it? LOL
