Fax back charge.
I did a signing last week, when I was given the signing I was never told that I need it to have faxed back the whole package. Well I got the documents just at the last minute no time to see the instructions.
I went and did the signing and that's when I realize theat it needed the whole package faxed back I called and I was aproved 50.00 dollars but I asked for a confirmation of the price increase and never got it.
I called today and they say that the maximun they can pay is 25.00 dollars, I told them that's not what we agreed on.
Yesterday I did all my signings with a laptop; The cable guys were working in the street and they cut a telephone line and I did not have phone line so I had to take my faxmachine to my sister's house 5 miles from me, and they did not provide me with a toll free fax number.
My question to you all is: What's a fair price for faxing back a whole package?
It took me an hour, it was more than 100 pages. I have never faxed so many pages to a single place.
Thank you.

i tell them if they do not have a toll free number: i will take it to service place (kinkos type) and for a $25.00 service fee, I will have it faxed and charged to them PERIOD. I do not run my business to support their income if they cannot get a toll free number to accomodate their requests of this. 1-2 pages no prob, but the whole thing NO.
toll free number: I will do it for $25 for minimal pages and upwards for more.

Take your business to the next level...
and invest in a decent sheet-feed scanner. It takes 5 mintes to scan and email an entire CW/FSL package (which are 100+ pages) and costs nothing to email that lovely .pdf file.
I don't do fax backs. Period. I offer a scan-back service for $50.00 (full package) or $25.00 (funding docs only) and my clients have been very happy
To fax 100 pages with long distance charges... a buck a page.

HP ScanJet 8250 is the big-dog that I have, and it works like a charm! Be sure you get a Sheet-Feed!!! It will also accommodate photos on the glass, but must have sheet-feed capabilities to make it time-efficient. Poor SusieBadTooth... get to the dentist, will ya? Or did you have it yanked already? Ice packs... no smoking.... no straws... you know the drill Tony will need more $$ soon... he quit his job Monday. Not so bright, that son of mine. I told him Chippendales were hiring in Miami, and that I'd already sent his "photo proof" along with a Resume'. He was only somewhat amused... thinks I am serious!

Should I make up a 'return receipt' from Chippers? Send a reply asking for lots of info?

Re: Take your business to the next level...
I was going to do the scan-fax thing, but I had no DSL Yesterday. So my only option was to fax with a real fax.
I have my hp-3015 and I can do the scans into pdf files but with no dsl. It was a bad day yesterday.
I tried to set up the hp-3015 into my laptop but I couldnt do it.

I am not the techie-guru on this forum, that's for sure.... so I have no idea what conflict you might have been experiencing with your laptop/scanner. I guess this is where that handy-dandy wireless card and mobile office would come in quite handy

Wonder if Angelina's new phone would fix something here when DSL is out?
