Grant deed question

Help me please with this....
I have a signing tonight (if the signer ever calls me back....) and I recieved the escrow docs from title.

Included is a GD. The grant deed is filled out as follows:
FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,

hereby GRANT(s) to
Signers Name, an unmarried man
the following real property in the city of Anyville, CA

I usually see a name (the GRANTOR) after the acknowledge,
But in this case there is none!

Furthermore, there is a PRELIMINARY CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP REPORT, and SELLER name is empty, an the BUYERS name is filled in.

Now, I know we are not supposed to notarize any forms that are not filled out, and to me, the GD is not filled out. I can not get hold of SC to ask.

Thanks
Bruce

In a nutshell (which is where this one came from)--looks like you'll be getting a 2nd fee out of this when they get it right. (If it's actually needed & not some 'too-much-eggnog' glitch.)
