Legal paper sources
I have searched around to see some opinions on online legal paper. Most of the replies seemed to deal with the fact of the rising costs. But I would like to know if there is an online source that has a decent price on legal sized paper....
I know that colleges used to have outrageously excellent prices on paper by the case but it has been a 5 years since I finished my last degrees.
so, if anyone has a good source they use I would appreciate it. Or off I go to costco! Tia

If you are going to Costco anyway, you may try this.

Quill also has the Georgia Pacific brand on sale right now for around $39.00 (Case of 10 reams). I'm in a rural area, no costco or staples, so I normally buy from them. Added bonus, free delivery right to your door if your order totals over $40.00!

This is great to know that Staples will match an old Costco Receipt. I have never heard this before and I am teaching a loan signing class tomorrow and I will share this with the class.
Thanks for the info!!

Sams Club is about the same price as Costco, But it...
comes 5 reems to the box for $18 as opposed to 10 at Costco for $35. A lot easier on the back.

Re: Sams Club is about the same price as Costco, But it...
the last time I bought from sam's club Bob you are right it was in the small five ream packages and I was looking forward to getting this again when I went back but no such luck they are now back to the 10 ream cases in my neck of the woods. I surely do hope that they go back to the small one soon as they really are easier on the back and I use the boxes for storage as they carry so well to the basement also. and the price is right

Paper black market??
I thought just about any source for paper was legal????
Never heard of anyone stealing it and fencing it or anything... I mean I guess it could happen.
Don't tell Lisa... she'll grab her wooden spoon.

There is a store here called Smith and Butterfields. They sell new and used office furniture. Sometimes they have to take damaged boxes of different things that can be used in an office (paper, pens, file folders, etc). I found 2 boxes (10 reams in each box) of legal paper for $25 / box! One box was a little crushed, and the paper wrap around the reams was torn, and the other box had hand soap spilled on it! I usually have to pay $40-$53 per 10 ream case....so I bought both boxes! I have found boxes of pens for $1 (I usually swipe pens from doctors offices) I bought legal size folders for $2 a box of 150. I have found dry erase markers for 25 cents! My kids always need them for school, so I bought a bunch of them. My kids are always needing poster board for school projects, and they alway forget to tell me until 8 pm the night before its due, so when I found a box of poster board, different colors, at least 100 sheets for $3, I grabbed it!
Anyway, that could be the type of place that you could try...FYI
