Loan Signing Companies to Work For?
Hello, this is my first posting on this board. i have read through other postings and noticed that alot of people have a hard time collecting pay for notaries from various loan signing companies. I am new to this. Is there any way to get a list of companies that are ideal to do work for and those that arent good to work for?
I believe a comprehesive list would be beneficial to all

Jeffrey, you didn't mean to, but what you did was just to ask readers (some, your competition and some, your peers on the other side of the country) here to hand over a good client list they worked hard to create.
Read all the posts you can, don't work for those with bad reports. Make your own potential list by having a no no list of your own.
Once you think it over, you'll get my drift.

Your best list to start is using the orange search button with keywords like "no pay, past due, etc".

Hello and thank you for your help, it is appreciated. Searching the posts and drawing my own conclusions is the way to go?

In a word, YES...
There are those that are pretty universally thought of as awful (like SOX), but beyond that, one person's headache is another person's dream. And when you are brand new, you can't afford to be as picky. As you get more experience, you'll hopefully be able to move up to better quality companies.

Harry has compliled a list of advertising companies
and they are rated with the star system. Clik on the signing central tab above, and then on signing companies.

...... which, of course, includes SOX, but is beneficial as a place to start .......

And of course SOX is the lowest rated on the list
Because they're the by far the worst company in the industry.

Re: Harry has compliled a list of advertising companies
Seems to me that SoX was the first company I ever read about when I was doing my initial SA research. I knew not to ever, ever, ever entertain a thought about working for them. Rotten company from what I have gathered.
However, that having been said, it cannot be stated enough that according to his posts San DiegoCA Notary ( SSE Mobile Notary Service ) knows how to invoice for them and get paid.
You might want to make note of his contact information linked to his profile in this thread if you are not "smart" enough to get them to pay you...if I had outstanding invoices for SoX...I'd be contacting him. He's a go-to guy with plenty of knowledge on having a successful relationship with SoX...JMHO...but, he has stated he has very good luck with them paying him.

"He's a go-to guy with plenty of knowledge on having...
a successful relationship with SoX..."
Bunny slippers shuffle over to the fridge, and she pops the top of a tall, cool one, well deserved after the storm of the century blew over.
The 'go to guy' to get paid from SOX. "?" She sits. One bunny slipper hops over the other bunny and dangles at the end of a knee, ears flopping.
She considers the news. So, *he* gets paid. "Knows* how to ~invoice~.
Top bunny hops double quick down, and she rolls over to the keyboard.
"Could it be he's getting a bang for his buck?" she typed.

Well, well, Susan, I'd say that's crossed the minds of some around here...however, one can only go on the presented testimony.

Holy smokes
<<<<For the 6th straight month, a check from SOX arrived today for the entire month's total from last month, two jobs, one no sign, one normal refinance, $112, submitted to them by UPS mail on their invoice on the 1st of the month, arriving in their office by the 5th, WHICH IS THE INSTRUCTIONS MADE BY THEM TO GET PAID.>>>>
First, $112 for a no-sign and a regular first refi is pretty low in fee. Secondly, LOL, now it appears SOX expects that all UPS mail sent on the 1st will be received by the 5th? That's it, folks. Blame the UPS for not getting your invoices (sent on the 1st, as required) to their office by the 5th, not SOX. They cannot help it if the mail doesn't arrive within their alloted time frame, and hence, will not pay you appropos. If I sent a snail mail every month to CA from FL, it would (and has) taken more than 4 days to arrive at it's destination every month.

Too bad you all have had such trouble wirg /
But you all never seem to have any trouble at all finding my posts, when I have had time to look in and contribute, to find as many things as you possibly can to

Too bad y'all still have had such trouble with SOX payments
But, then, y'all never seem to have any trouble at all finding my posts, when I actually have had time to look in and contribute, to find as many things as you possibly can to slam! :o]
Ah, then, why should my posts be any different then any other new member here who isn't a long standing member of the long time members clique ....... y'all seem to resent every new member's inadvertently off beat comment as if you had never ever been a new member yourself ....... what short memories are exhibited here at times.
Cali seems to lie in wait for every one of my posts here just so he can use that little sense of humor he's so famous for ...... or at least try to use it. Brings to mind the question as to why he has so much free time, but, we should all be glad he does, as he does offer many good tips in his posts as well. Quite freely offered good sense .......... sometimes.
Kinda makes one wonder why he clicks off the default "Add Link To My Profile" link to every post ...... Nice of him to have such a long memory about post #134199 though, and be able to pass on the number so quickly at short notice any time he feels it's to his advantage! I'm flattered!!
I get the feeling that many of you actually don't believe that your clients and mine are reading every post here ....... and judging us, fairly or not, by what gets posted. <grin>
For all you new members here who have emailed me this past year in lieu of posting to the forum, no problem, if I can help please continue, but also don't let the "long time members clique" throw you off of your game, you have as much right to post here as they do, and often times have better things to post!
I'm sorry if there's a day or two delay in my replies, though. The notary business is just one of three that I run out of my little one man office. That's what happens when you retire too early in life and like to keep busy. There's only so much fishing or golf I can do without that getting boring as well ........
For my new notary clients this year who started your call with "I found your post and profile on Notary Rotary" my comment back still stands, this part of the web site is just an internet public forum, no more serious or real than anything else like it on the internet. Try not to take everything "said" in here too seriously
Harry does an excellent job at providing this often used notary resource web site and a nice place for us notary folks to market our notary office. He shouldn't be personally blamed for any of the publicly posted forum comments placed there by the users if they seem at all odd, out of place or rude.
