While I appreciate your information and have always thought of you as a leader in our industry, I don't understand your critique of individuals that have their own blogs?

Why shouldn't they post whatever they want? A bit of personal information keeps it fresh and from becoming more like a form letter.

I would never be able to write a blog. I'm just to boring and don't have the writing skills. I do enjoy reading about others experiences and getting a little laugh while I'm learning something new.

I guess my point is why not have personal information included in your blog? It really life. Their life. Not a book that they later plan on selling on Amazon.com.

To advertise or not to advertise

Unless you have specific permission from Harry you are not to advertise. And don't try and wrap it in a pretty pink bow of "I'm going to help a bit for free".
