Mobile Printing set-up

Does anyone have the ability to print docs from their car?
I want to set-up a laptop, laser printer & scanner so I can print loan packages in my car.
I have lost several jobs due to the fact that I cannot get back to the office to print docs and get back to the borrower in time. If I am in the area I want to print the docs & save travel time & money. I have been told that I need a pure sine power inverter of at least 1800 w due to the laser printer.

I would appreciate any help in setting up the system.

Do a search for mobile office, there's been quite a few threads on it.

How secure is your car?

How much buisness do you have to do to replace what's stolen and the insurance deductible for your car? I just did 2 medium size packets at Kinko's for $10.00, not too bad.

Kinkos is a hidden treasure. My mom is a notary too and doesn't have laser equipment, she uses kinkos often.

Re: anotary4all, may I ask the reason Mom has not yet gotten

a laser printer? Also the docs are in the hands of one more stranger and all borrowers privy info?

I plan on doing this also as there are NO Kinkos anywhere near most of the places I travel to. I live very close to 4 cities, but I do 50% very rural closings. There are so many times where docs are late, and that throws my entire day off. I plan on having my auto windows tinted in January to make it harder to see in the back of my vehicle, then I'll add a Brother MFC all in one and my daughters old laptop.

My mobile office would *have* to have a bathroom...and

a generator. And storage for toner, paper, and courier delivery supplies. And a driver named Vinny, and all-wheel drive. Mudflaps and CB.

Music and a galley, the GPS navigation thing, and a fridge. And an alarm system, and a big clock.

Mobile Notarymobile.

The mud flaps would need to have a silhouette of a studly...

Guy . Feel free to use my image as a model

I am fortunate that in my area, there is a Kinkos within....

about 10 minutes of anywhere I happen to be.
On the few occaisions that I have used their printing, I burn the
dox onto a disk on my laptop and have the staff print.
I watch to make sure that the do not look at the dox and
have the disk returned to me. Had a last minute 100 page pkg + bwr
copy printed recently for about $15 . Saved me over an hour that it would have
taken to drive home to print.
As a compromise, you might keep an extra laser printer in your car
and get a lap top with a cell modem. You can download the dox while driiving
and print them in the customers house using their electricity.
