My email runneth over

I'm sitting here printing out my third set of loan docs for 3 different signings tonight, by the time I'm done it'll have been about 45 minutes of printing and close to 800 pages.

The first loan was a pdf with 241 pages. Yes, my eyes bugged out like a cartoon character. But it's not quite so bad, it's a company that wants 4 copies of the mortage, several copies of the note. When I did the borrowers copy without all the duplicates it was probably 100 pages.

And here I thought I was in for a nice easy day, I started it all with just one signing scheduled. Sigh.

GF...was it for tom. @ 4 from PCS? I got the same call but

she wouldn't meet my fee. I'm glad to see notaries declining lowballers.

Hi Rafael, yes it was her. She called 2 times. well ...I see she also went down the list. Probably founded some one who agree to her fee.

I thought it would be an easy day today too...and it wasn't. I had docs for my 3pm yesterday and got docs for my 4pm by 12noon. I accepted a 6pm in the same town as my 4pm (1.5 miles away from the 4pm) and decided to load up the laptop and print on the road.

My 3pm was late so I was late to my 4pm. I HAD to pee soooo bad and there is nothing in between the 3 and the 4 so I decide I MUST stop at the local youth center for a public restroom. While doing my thing, I get a call from the EO for the 6pm. I explain I am on the road and can not check my email, but will call or reply to let her know that I received all 3 emails. I thank the nice lady at the youth center, hand her $5 for their annual toy drive and I'm back on the road.

I get to my 4pm @ 4:15 and walk into a house reeking of dog crap. Thank goodness it was a small pkg. I leave the 4pm and rush to make the 5pm FedEx drop. I missed the drop so I call the 3 & 4 folks to let them know that I tried, but the picked up/ Not picked up do-hickey on the FedEx box had a sticker over it stating it was not working and I was NOT taking the chance at 5:15 with a 5pm pick up time.

Time to get gas and print docs for my 6pm now 5 miles away. Fill up at Hess $2.33 per gallon...nice...and pick a spot to download and print. The third attachment is printing as slow as molasses so I decide to head to the closing while printing...I did not want to be late. As it turns out, the brw had recently repainted the exterior of his home and had no street numbers on the house or the mailbox. The street was poorly lit so I picked the most logical home and took a chance. Eureka! I found the right house.

The brw. (of course) forgot to get a copy of his DL so he follows me to the Rav4 to make a copy. I had three more attc. to print and had to clean up the print job I did while driving...oh my.

Did my 6pm on the living room floor using a coffee table (haven't we all been there) and thank goodness it went smoothly. I'm finally eating dinner. I missed lunch, but had a late breakfast at about 10:30. I'm soooooooo done, but I still love what I do and wouldn't trade for the world!

What a day! The next two weeks will be crazy. EOM & EOY = Madness.

This day was as busy as I can remember!! I had 10 calls today and wound up doing 3 of them.
They were all day time signings and that's unusual in Riverside Ca. I was finished by 4pm.

You mentioned the borrowers didn't have copies of ID. When that happens, I just take a picture and print it later. Saves running out to get a copy. Never had a lender complain,
