NEED ADVISE AND RECOMMENDATIONS ON ACCOUNTNG SOFTWARE

I've come to the experts.....I did use Quicken simple start; however, I thought it took more vendors. I went in last night to prepare an invoice and it says vendor list is full. Any recommendations for ease and simplicity and of course costs. I looked at quickbooks and they are pretty expensive. Thanks Debi

I use QuickBooks Premier

and I love it. I have mine set up a little differently. I set up my "Company". Then, instead of making my clients "vendors", I made them "customers" which has allowed me to track Active/Inactive jobs by customer name. It also allows me to invoice each job seperately with two mouse clicks. Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports are a breeze. So is tracking my mileage accurately (per job) and tracking expenses down to the penny.
I love it Smile
Expensive? Kind of... but I've used this version for 3 years with no problems. Definately got my moneys worth!
