OT-Blizzard conditions and the first snow day

We have blizzard conditions with 10-14 inches of snow expected. Wow! The kids have their very first snow day since we moved here, naturally they were up early in anticipation, LOL. I was glad my husband made it to work OK. Everyone be safe and have a great day.

We've Gone From...

...near 70 degree weather on Wednesday to 19 degrees this AM. 6-8 inches of snow have fallen overnight & along with the ice we received yesterday afternoon, trees are down & power is out all over the St Louis area. I'll be assisting two of neighbors who had a Bradford Pear tree fall on their common fence. It's gonna be a tough day to stay warm!

Thanks guys!

Dennis, be careful, I'll be thinking about you guys. We still have power, and thank goodness for that. I was supposed to have a 8:00 about an hour from me this morning, but I told the TC last night that if it was too bad out, I wouldn't be able to go. They had the wrong phone # on the confirmation, but I found the correct one on the loan app. Just spoke with them a while ago and they said that was fine, no need to take a chance in this weather. Always nice to have understanding BOs. We're going to try to meet up later after it calms down. We'll see how it goes.

9 inches at the last count

The kids are out shoveling, of course I had to clear a way for them to shovel, but it's the effort that counts. They really wanted to get out in it. I'm going to post some pictures in a bit, that is if I can find a good posting site.
