OT: Bruce is home

He is home! They turned him loose at noon. He looks a lot better.
Thank you for all your prayers

Now...

Sit him in the recliner and tip it back and hand him the remote. Used to do that with my mother-inl-aw when she wouldn't rest as ordered from the DR.

Re: Now...

I wish I could do that. He is sitting at his computer playing games! I am 4'11" he is 5'10", so I am not big enough to force him to move. But I am sure he will soon decide on his own to sit in his recliner. He says he has had nothing but bed rest for the last few days.
Hmmm maybe I should tell him if he is feeling that good there are a couple of chores he can maybe handle - if that doesn't make him sit in the recliner and relax, nothing will!

Re: Now...

Tell him that there will be no French Maid outfit when he's better unless he does what you tell him to do.

Glad to hear he's ok, I hope that's his last hospital visit for a long time.

Re: I bet Sylvia has her original French Maid costume

and I'll be it still fits her like a glove. And, I'm guessing she's got a "stuffy English butler" suit hanging right beside it.

Cali's got it right, Sylvia. You tell Bruce, "There will be no french lessons for the English butler" until he complies with your rules.

Whatever it takes to get the man his rest!

God bless you both, dear friend. What a lovely Christmas present to have him home.

(Is that the way to spell "butler?" I can't spell check my post right now.)

Re: I bet Sylvia has her original French Maid costume

LOL No French Maid costume in my closet. But I believe I have the "item" I was wearing when I first met Bruce that grabbed his attention, and I am sure I can still fit in it <g> But I will never tell what it is Smile

Yes, that is the right way to spell butlerSmile

Oh c'mon, Sylvia. Was it the "Mensa Meter Maid" with matching horned rim glasses????

Anyone watch Reno 911?

I'm going to guess a giant milkshake outfit.

Definitely would get you noticed, and would still be easy to slip into even if you put on a couple of pounds.

Re: Anyone watch Reno 911?

It's on Comedy Central, a spoof on the show "Cops". It's one of the funniest shows on TV.
