What did you do before you became a signing agent? FT Real Estate Broker and RE Investment Analyst.
What made you decide to become a signing agent? Writing was on the wall... rapid overvaluation of real estate told me that I was going to need another source of income. I was right
What was your worse closing? Two old ladies (sisters) with two HUGE German Shepards (vicious) and the most incredibly foul smell a nose could imagine (ammonia). As I walked across the carpeted floor and heard "squish, squish, squish" and looked down, one sister commented "That's why we're refinancing... the girls are due for new carpet". Yep. I was in the dogs bathroom (which was the entire house) I was in respiratory distress when I left the house.
What was your longest time spent with a borrower? 2 hours, reverse mortgage, really nice lady with arthritis... it was painful for her to sign, and we had to have lots of breaks.
Self- taught or mentored? Self-taught What do you do in your spare time? I invented the 36-hour nap Office in home or rent-a-space? Nice, big office in my home. Cell phone on or off at closings? Always on, and I always excuse myself to answer it.
City or country? Both! Rockefellers one day, Larry the Cable Guy the next. Gulfshore life is unique!
Still lovin' it or ready to leave it? Still lovin' every minute of it (except on that one horrible day each month that I place my serious collection calls... makes me cranky all day)
