Payment from LoanSigners
I have been waiting since August to collect from Loan Signers. Everytime I contact them they say they are going to be paying but not sure when I will receive my check. I have 3 signings that they owe me for, this hurts when I have the expense of gas, paper and my time! Has anybody else had this problem? and if so, Have you received andy money and/or heard when you might? Or have you found a way to collect? Thanks for your imput! Becky in Tennessee

Hi Becky, yep....they owe me too and several others. Click on the orange search button and do a search on them, you'll be surprised. In 6 days I'm turning him over to a collections agency AND filing with the BBB there in his hometown. His is the only company that owes me and I have every intention of closing out the year with some action. He has promised to pay us but evidently we're last in the food chain, my invoice is also from August.

Same here. I will be sending a letter to the SOS and filing a complaint with the BBB as well. I am owe from August 10th 2006 and will not wait any longer. I will print out all the complaints that have been posted on NR and send them as well.

I have a bounced check and the State of California"s Attorney General will do nothing!

This may be a big surprise to some, but SOME of us are too busy to read advise on ANY internet forum except, maybe, once in a great while, and shame on any of you who still think everyone else knows what you do because you had the free time to learn it off an internet forum.
Becky, there are ways to get payment from slow or no paying clients that go back decades. A registered letter, or a FedEx package if they refuse the USPS letter demanding a signature, will deliver your DEMAND for payment, capitalized here because it is one used in the LEGAL aspect of payment demand. Even then you MUST follow up, and use every collection method if needed.
Persistence is the biggest tool you will have on your side. Keep at it, read about "collection" techniques on the internet and put them to use.
Folks have been getting payment from all of the slow or "no pay" services out there (including SOX!!) mentioned on this and other internet forums where some have not for some other reason(s) ......don't give up, but DO get as smart about your collection process as you can get.

That's why there's a search feature on this board, so you don't have to read daily to get the info you need.
And if you're too busy to take 2 minutes to search for any possible negative posts about a new company you're working for, then don't come on here 3 months later crying about not getting paid when the info you needed was here all along.
And finally, give me a break. We all know darn well what the nature of this job is and we all have downtime here and there, or time to browse the boards while we're printing edocs. We all have plenty of time to get the information we need to try to ensure that we don't have to waste time on collection efforts later. It's called working smart.

The people that posted all worked for them in August. Payment issues came up after that. Maybe you should read the board instead of passing the shame/blame around.

I agree w/all of you. They owe me for 4 respas I did for them beginning in September. The last time I emailed Chris ,the owner, he assured me that all payments would be made by Christmas. I like you, will wait until that date has passed and if no check arrives I too will be contacting the BBB. When I first started working for them they paid well and on time, but since August it has been a different story. It is a shame.
