SIGNATURES PLUS
For all of you who have no assistance in receiving payment from Signatures Plus... I may have found the magic key..... I have been sending nasty emails and letters, even going so far as to file a police report for theft and embezzelment, which prior to finalizing I filed a complaint with the BBB. I filed the BBB complaint last Monday, I received a response from the BBB on Tuesday of this week and payment supposedly is coming out to me today. I will keep you updated, but file a complaint with the BBB it helps

My BBB says they do not do Business to Business complaints, only consumer. They tell me that this is not a consumer complaint. What are the key words to say to the BBB to get them to take the complaint?

Try a different BBB office
I dealt with BBBs in different cities/regions in my immediate past life, and found that the staffs' views of their roles varied from office to office. So, Margaret, if it's your local BBB that's telling you they don't handle such complaints, you might try making your complaint with the office that covers the area where SOX is located. (Or if it's the office local to SOX telling you that, try the office local to you.)
It was not uncommon for the BBBs local to our complaining customers to forward their complaints to the BBB local to us in the corporate office, or even sometimes to the BBB local to our lockbox address (under the mistaken notion that that's where we were located). But then other BBBs would retain their constituents' complaints and handle them from there.

Re: Try a different BBB office
Then you might file it with your local BBB if you haven't tried that, under the reasoning that the situation arose there in your locality. In my experience, some of the staffs in the offices local to the complainant were willing to handle them there, as opposed to forwarding them on to the office local to us. It was about a 50/50 split whether they retained or forwarded.
But whether your local office will view it as a B2B situation which they won't handle, I can't say. However, it sounds, from others' experiences reported here, that some BBBs do process the complaints, regardless of whether they're B2B or B2C.
It's worth a shot, anyway.
I'm guessing the BBB local to SOX has received a lot of complaints on SOX, and is happy to rely on that excuse to dispose of them expeditiously.

I can't imagine why anyone would work for these thieves? Is this how you want to earn your fees? Sending innumerable faxes? Filing complaints with the BBB, the police, and title co's lenders, etc. JUST SAY NO! Or if they call you for a signing, say sure..... send me a check along with the documents. Fox..Wentworth..the list is to long to type. saying NO is easy.

I filed with my local BBB and they wrote them. They of course responded with the check was cut and would go out in the mail by the end of the week. BBB wrote me back to ask if it was resloved. I said no. They closed the case cause there is nothing they can do but my complaint is at least posted with BBB.
FYI, It has been several months and I still have not received that check. I told them if they can't afford the measly $90 they are in the wrong business.
I just posted a message to see what else I/we all can do to collect payment.
